This is nice, of course, but gifts and gestures of appreciation are already expected on “special” days like these. You can be much more romantic with your girlfriend by giving her gifts, flowers, etc. on random days when she least expects it. Your gift doesn’t need to be something over the top like fancy jewelry. Yet, a surprise gift will often have a much greater romantic impact on your girlfriend due to the fact that it is unexpected.
